Located in a spot in the Sea of Dunes, Camelfat is a game-changing mutation that greatly reduces the rate at which you get thirsty, but causes drugs (and rads) to move very slowly through your system.
Advantages
- Thirst becomes a non-issue. Simply carrying a canteen of soda will be enough to keep you fully buffed with caffeine pretty much all the time.
- Drugs last much longer. Low doses of pot, crank and speed (and the buffs they convey) will stay with you for a long time.
- Drugs become easier to use if you are using a high endurance build.
Disadvantages
- While having a near-permanent buff from low doses of drugs is beneficial, high doses (and their negative side effects) will also stay for a prolonged time.
- Radiation will persist for a much longer period of time, even at extremely low dosage. Use of medic skill to apply rad detox kits, as well as high endurance, are reccomended.
- Overdosing on drugs is far more dangerous with Camelfat, potentially persisting through multiple revivals. You will need to closely monitor your dosages.
Notes
Those who choose Camelfat should be ready to carry and use rad detox kits and aspirin. Camelfat is also not a good mutation for those who do not have high endurance to ward off the side effects of drugs.
