Coventry Island is a lovely, scenic tourist location located far off the coast of Freedom City, only accessible by boat. A very nice place to spend your time if you like being raped to death by giant snakes or a super-powerful nigh unkillable boss.

Dangers

Coventry is home to the endgame mob, the Basilisk. Basilisks are giant snakes that can do ludicrous amounts of damage in a very short amount of time, and are resistant to stuns and feints, for the most part, and can cause stuns very easily themselves, and their powerattack can hurt a lot for even the most prepared adventurers.

Just to make Coventry an even more lovable place, there is a certain boss here that is pone of the toughest mobs of HellMOO, having ridiculous damage potential, dodge and the ability to heal itself.

Why The Hell Would I Come Here?

Because Coventry is essentially the end game spot, and basilisks provide a large amount of XP. Basilisks are also a potential source of the Sharpened Teeth mod for Clubs, which provides the ever-powerful bleed damage, and their hides can be sold to J'Lar for quite good money.

In Short

Coventry is a horrible, horrible place, and unless you have a very powerful group or you yourself are ridiculously strong, you will not survive here. Do not, under any circumstances, bring items that you cannot replace, because even with a powerful party, you still have a very high chance of dying.
