There are many ways to earn XP, need to get ahead in the game -- some are gained by combat, others from using your skills such as medic and craft, but a large amount of XP can be earned by simply exploring or fulfilling quests to obtain "journals". An easy 1000 XP journal can be earned by contributing a high-quality page to this wiki or the in-game help documentation, or by helping to maintain the docs. If you add a page, 'page help' when there are active admins and point them at it once you are ready to have your work be judged.
