Yeti Skin

Yeti Skin is a soak mutation which gives resistance against cold damage, and immunity to the cold effect. Prequisite for Yeti Fur.

Location

Mountain Pass. Make your way to the red and black [ ] on the map. Head west/northwest, then down.

Effects

This mutation grants:

    +8-10 cold resistance
    +Immunity to the cold effect.

Advantages

The cold resistance is useful for people with Flight, fighting ghosts/shoggoths or against players that use Chiller/iceblox ammo/ectoblast cells on you. Combined with a rad suit, you're basically untouchable to poltergeists, making them easy to grind weapons on. Your felt temperature will also never fall below 10*C in most places except probably Weezer Dam during a winter snowstorm.

Disadvantages

Takes up a soak slot. Your body temperature will be increased by ~10°C, which can be problematic in very hot areas. Dishdashas/Keffiyehs/HEV suit, drinking lots of water or being covered in antifreeze vomit helps with that.

Appearance

His/Her/Its skin is thick and dusted with white fur.
