This area is all that remains after one of the bombs went off. This desert is both hot and radioactive, with temperature and radiation intensity both rising as you move towards ground zero. It is inhabited by radscorpions and vultures.
The Wasteland is also the location of the Solar Sponge and Phaser mutations, as well as Vault 4. Many broken pipes lead from the Slagtown sewers to this area.
