Mutation

You ever been in the Any Port and seen people light their bongs, joints, and cigarettes without a lighter? Seems cool, right? Well, thanks to a mutation known as Carrie, you too can light these things and more on fire!
Incompatible with Chiller, synergy with Solar Sponge.

Location

Getting carrie is quite simple... Wander around the Open Prairie for a while until you come across the fire pit... Once you've found it, just mutate and enjoy.

Effects

The mutation message is:

    [ Your focus increased by 1! ]
[ You've just received some new commands. ]
[ burn <any> : Set your opponent on FIRE. ]
[ cook <any> : Roast any raw meat to take care of those nasty germs! ]

Advantages

You gain the command burn <target>, a Focus skill that attempts to light your opponent on fire using a Focus check at the cost of some stress and the risk of gaining a mental.
Additionally, you can light inanimate things on fire by using burn <item> or cook raw meat with cook <item>.

Being on fire debuffs the flaming person's weapon skill, doubly so for guns. At max dose, a melee user will see a -5 to their tohit, with gunners getting up to -10 on theirs.

Disadvantages

There is a chance to gain a mental illness just for using Carrie. This chance is lowered if you also have the Solar Sponge mutation.
