---++ Fighting Styles
#REDIRECT [[Combat#Picking_a_Fightstyle]]

In this vast land of extraordinary proportions called HellMOO, you must fight people/monsters (They're devils on the inside), either for defense, fun, money, XP, or other reasons. For the longest time, there was only one attack style: Normal. Now, this has been changed.

There are five fighting styles, and they are :

 * Pacifist
 * Cautious
 * Normal
 * Aggressive
 * Berserk

To switch fighting styles, type: *fight [style_type]* (Without the brackets) You will then see a message similar to:

=[You were fighting pacifist.]=
=[You're now fighting berserk.]=
---++ The Classes

The fighting styles have two classes. One class is parry assisting, the other is speed assisting. If you are fighting in a parry assisting class, then your weapon will parry more, losing speed and, decreasing eDPS. If you're fighting in a speed assisting class, your speed will increase, adding eDPS, but decreasing parry, making you suseptable to being hit more often. The normal fighting style does not have a class.

The Parry Class consists of:

 * Pacifist
 * Cautious

The Speed Class consists of:

 * Aggressive
 * Berserk

There isn't much to be specific about, fighting styles do not have any definite speed increase/decrease in which I can tell you about. However, Pacifist adds more to parry and takes more from speed than Cautious. Berserk adds more to speed and takes more from parry than Aggressive does. Obviously, the most well balanced fighting style is normal.
