-The suture kit is used to fix bleeding. You'll know if you're bleeding because you'll get messages saying so, and diagnosing yourself with "diag me" or the "tac" command will confirm it.

These are a good idea to carry around when facing opponents with blades - you'll bleed like a stuck pig otherwise.
