These are (some of) the weapons used for skills in Hellmoo.

Please edit if there are missing items but check with admins or players as to which position they go in.


They are sorted by the 'Raw' attribute and then by min base damage not really sorted too well at all. Because fuck you.


Speed and non-base damage differ based on your stats and skills, so they are a bit more difficult to obtain.

Max speed shown is based on the normal fightstyle. Melee weapons depend on reflex for speed, and projectile weapons depend on brawn for speed.

Additional data available at Weapons (Programming). I'm not sure how reliable those are though.

Damage Types

Type Associated weapons Critical effects
Beat Clubs, hammers, axes, blunt weapons. Can break limbs, hitting broken limbs can put the target into shock.
Slash Swords, axes, edged weapons. Can cause bleeding.
Stab Spears, pointed weapons. Can cause bleeding.
Bullet Pistols, rifles. Can cause bleeding.
Burn Flame chains, fire, and plasma. Can cause burning.
Electricity Blacklashes and flashwhips, lightning, toaster in water. Can both cause stuns and burning.
Acid Venomous whips, sagebrushes. Can cause shock.
Radiation Abom claws, sharpened fuel rods. Can cause burning and inflict rads. Soakable by radsuits.
Wasting Waster shells, ectoblast ammo. Can cause burning and inflict rads. Unsoakable.
Cold Very few things do cold damage. Can cause cold. Unsoakable by armor.
EMP Crystal spikes, illuminol clips, EMP shotguns, proton packs, EMP weapon mods. Can cause mental diseases in high-focus players.
Bleed Sonic scalpels, chainsaws, chudstopper ammo. Can cause the bleed status affect. Only soakable by boat shoes.
Laser Lasblasters Can cause burning. Not soaked by much, if any armor.

Parry Classes

Non-parrying - Does not parry, and cannot be parried. Also ignores dodge in respects to hitting.
Class 0 Can only parry other PC0 weapons.

Claw (Ripper) 3-5 2 ? Slash/Stab 3-7/1-6 30%/30% Replace your regular fists. You can butcher and fish with them, but not fondle or wank without hurting yourself or the target.
Uru pounders 3-6 2 ? Beat 3-7 35% Weighs 6kg. Get from gammaprole stockboys.
Claws and fangs (Abom) 3-6 2 ? Slash/Stab/Radiation 3-7/3-7/2-5 30%/30%/10% Bad fuckin' ass. Scales awesomely with brawn.
Punch knife 4-6 1 ? Stab 1-6 30% None.
Jawbreaker 7-* 1 ? Beat 3-9 35% The high end PvP weapon of choice. Defines fists - fast, good damage, and random stuns. Used to be a lot better.
Tesla Gauntlets 7-8 2 ? * Electric/Beat 8-20/2-8 25%/15% Slower than Jawbreakers, but has a parry class of one and does shock damage, which most armors don't soak. Also, their damage scales off raw rather than brawn.
Edison Gauntlets 7-8 2 ? * Electric/Beat 5-14/5-15 35%/25% Similar to Tesla Gauntlets. Slower and harder hitting.
Claws (Zombie) ? ? ? ? Slash 1-8 2% Scales insanely well with brawn, but slow as hell. Has a chance of inflicting zombie rot on hitting.
Claws (Chud) ? ? ? ? Slash 1-8 2% If you are hit, they can give you any diseases the chud has.
pair of pata gauntlets 8-* 2 ? ** Slash/stab 3-11/5-10 30%/30% These are the high-end choice for fisters. With PC ** and decent speed, they are something to be feared when wielded by a endgame fister.

Shock baton 4-6 1 ? * Beat/Electric 3-8/4-9 10% As good as a blacklash and can be bought easily in FC. Slap on a shock module and go to town on everything.
Fire axe 4-6 2 ? * Slash/Beat 5-12/2-8 50% From firemen. Has a large tohit penalty, making them fairly useless in high-end combat.
Pimp cane 5-7 1 6.3 Slash/Beat 3-10/1-4 30%/30% Does slash damage, making them good for zombies. Though if you can use a pimp cane, you can probably find something better.
Santa cane 5-7 1 6.3 Slash/Beat 3-10/1-4 30%/30% A reskinned pimp cane.
Crime stick 5-7 1 ? * Beat 3-13 20% Very powerful, and one handed. Can be gotten for free from chuman guards in the mines, though the drop rate is low.
RIP-4 combat shiver axe 7-* 1 ? * Slash 6-25 35% The Punisher drops these.
Piston hammer 7-* ? ? ** Beat/Elec 6-15/1-4 20%/20% High-end club of choice. Combustors are usually preferred over these.

Whips

Antenna whip 1-3 1 ? Beat/Slash 1-5/1-4 5%/5% Your grinding whip of choice. Effective against most early game mobs (chuds, chobos, crackheads, etc)
Leather whip 1-3 1 ? Beat/Slash 1-5/1-6 6%/5% Practically a direct upgrade from the antenna whip, it can be freely improvised from skins, you should try to upgrade to this as soon as possible.
Venomous lash 3-5 1 ? * Acid/Slash 3-8/1-3 20%/10% An unusual damage type, but otherwise not that interesting. Slow as hell and very inaccurate, get something better as soon as possible.
Link whip 4-* 2 ? ** Beat 4-8 15% Fairly decent whip, nothing spectacular but much better than the venomous lash in terms of speed and accuracy.
Nail sjambok 4-6 1 ? * Beat/Slash 2-7/2-5 10%/10% Rare find in Sharpton Projects, maybe elsewhere.
Flame chain 5-7 2 ? ** Burn/Beat 6-11/2-7 20%/5% Great weapon, fire damage kills lots of stuff real well and it also defends well thanks to PC2. Use this to farm ice yetis, ghosts, and anything else not invulnerable to fire.
Razorchain 6-* 2 ? * Slash/Bleed 6-10/1-1 20%/5% About as fast as the flame chain, the bleed is unsoakable and can be buffed with whip upgrades, useful against burn resistant mobs or as a weaker replacement for the flame chain.
Blacklash 7-* 1 ? * Electric/Slash 5-9/1-3 ? Skip these and go straight for flash whips.
Flash whip 7-* 1 ? * Electric 6-12 17%/9%? Dual wield these and max out your speedcap and you can kill anything up to and including large dinos.
Urumi 6-8 1 ? * Slash 6-12 25% The best whip in HellMOO as of lately, it's best used when wielded with a flash whip.

Spears

Infected Syringe 1-3 1 ? - Stab 1-3 ? Infects whoever it hits with Ebola. Incredibly prone to permanently breaking, outside of the standard weapon condition system.
Signpost Spear 1-3 2 ? ** Stab 1-7 ? Crackheads use these now. They do slightly better damage then the other two common beginner's spears but you'll have to craft or find one since Ammu-Nation doesn't usually sell them.
Spike Spear 1-3 2 ? ** Stab 4-10 ? A great weapon but rarer then the others. Don't expect to find one unless you're in a good corporation.
Wooden Stake 4-6 1 ? ** Stab 1-7 ? These autocrit against vampires. You can get them from any vampire slayer other than Tyrone. They also occasionally drop from orphans
Slaver Spear 5-7 2 ? ** Stab 5-15 ? found in the toxic dump.
Light Assegai 5-7 2 ? ** Stab 6-11 ? None.
Assegai 5-7 1 ? * Stab 6-12 30% From Stormfront, Necro and many other places
Rusty Scythe 5-7 2 ? ** Slash/Stab 1-15/1-6 ? Much lower minimum damage then its non-rusty counterpart but it makes up for it with higher max damage and ease of location. One spawns outside of Edith's farm.
Large Scythe 5-7 2 ? ** Slash 6-12 30% Excellent damage, but a little slow.
Abossegai 6-8 1 ? * Stab 7-14 40% Same as an assegai. Comes premodded with a balanced grip, sharpening kit and monowire serrator.
Luftspeer 5-7 1 ? * Slash/Stab 2-7/1-10 30%/20%? Comes premodded with a balanced grip, sharpening kit and monowire serrator.
Ancient Trident 6-8 2 ? ** Electric/Stab 1-10/1-10 ? Existed ingame only due to a quirk with toxic dump freak weapon selection, good luck finding one that isn't pre-owned.
Garden Weasel 7-* 2 ? ** Slash 8-13 ? The former king of spears, and still very good. These actually exist irl, look up a picture of one if you feel like wincing in sympathetic pain.
Drilltar 8-* 2 ? ** Stab/Elec 4-11/2-6 40%/20% A guitar with a drill on it.
Chainsaw lance 8-* 2 ? ** Slash/Bleed 5-16/4-8 35% Craftable, or from Hawthorn.
Pitchfork 5-7 2 ? ** Stab 5-15 5% Similar to a rusty scythe, but with only one damage type and a more predictable range. Also slow as fuck (8.0 at 26 reflexes)

Switchblade 1-3 1 5.5 Stab 1-4 35% Ganglanders and slagtownies often use these, and they are pretty fast. Good for grinding.

Cutting Knife 1-3 1 ? * Stab 1-5 ? Gives a bonus to butchering corpses.

Flint Knife 1-3 1 ? * Slash 1-5 ? Craftable. Improv them with flint and a vine.

Sonic Scalpel 1-3 1 5.8 Bleed/Slash 3-5/1-3 15%/5% Bleed damage ignores armour, and they are fast. Hepcats drop these. They are extremely useful for farming anything tough (like other players)
Heavy Sword 1-3 2 ? ** Slash/Beat 3-5/3-5 40%/30%
Crystal Spike 2-4 1 6.3 * Beat/EMP 1-5/5-8 10%/10% Deals EMP damage, making them the blademan ghost killing weapon of choice.

Katana 3-5 1 6.9 * Slash 4-11 20% For free from the gatekeeper at Kakuri.
Huge scissors 3-5 1 11 * Stab 4-9 ? Can be purchased in Botany Bay. Also found on Rompers.
Fine Katana 4-6 1 6.6 * Slash 6-15 22% The best one-handed blade. Very fast and good damage. One-time quest reward from a certain person on Kakuri!
Lotus Nodachi 4-6 2 ? ** Slash/Stab 4-8/6-10 35%/20% One-time quest reward. Amazing low/mid level blade.
Cutlass 5-7 1 6.3 * Slash/Stab 4-8/1-4 20%/5% Can be found uncommonly on bandits in the underground mine. Can sometimes be found in Open Prairie.
Wasteland kukri 5-8 1 ? * Slash 5-14 25% Crafted alternate choice to fine katanas. Very dangerous when dual wielded.
Hosaka Daikatana 6-8 2 ? ** Slash/Stab 9-14/3-6 30%/30% Gotten from Usagi Yojimbo the rabbit samurai. He wanders and is quite tuff.
Bruce Springsteel 6-8 2 ? ** Beat/Slash/Stab 6-12/7-10/2-4 15%/30%/30% Slow, but impressive damage. Crafted.
Boss Springsteel 7-* 2 ? ** Beat/Slash/Stab 1-5/9-17/3-5 15%/45%/35% Does better damage than a bruce and is slightly faster, but has less hit. Scales well with brawn, allowing for good damage without massive skill.
Ripper Blade 1-3 ? ? * Beat/Slash 5-8/3-10 10%/0% Exists only in the Quake Dream. A rare few existed in the world prewipe due to a bug.
RIP-9 Shiver Sword OFF 10-* ? ? ** Slash 2-7 ? Needs to be turned on to be useful. Turned off, it still scales impressively with blades.
RIP-9 Shiver Sword ON 10-* ? ? ** Slash 8-27 ? Needs a cheap power adapter or a normal one with an atomicell to operate. Best blade.

Powersquirt 1-3 1 ? - Acid 3-8 40% Powersquirt clip Useful against ghosts. Also more useful against zombies than most pistols, since it doesn't do bullet damage
Powersquirt 1-3 1 ? - EMP/Acid 1-5 30%/10% Illuminol clip More useful against ghosts than with acid powersquirt clips.
Powersquirt 1-3 1 ? - ? ? ? Freakbile clip Does impressive damage, but a massive pain to craft the ammo unless you have access to a friendly abom, who can create an endless supply of chestbursters to be butchered.
Rusty old .38 caliber revolver 1-3 1 ? - Shot 6-12 30% .38 speedload Liable to explode. Found in a cabin in yeti forest.
Lizard Gun 1-3 1 ? - Shot 1-20 3 % .40 slug A gimmick weapon. Single shot. Used as a component in lasblasters.
Fletchette Pistol 1-3 1 ? - Slash 3-10 40% Fletchette clip Garbage, 77jack uses one.
Defender 6mm pistol 1-3 1 ? - Shot 5-12 15% 6mm You can buy Insult ammo for this at 77jack's, breaks very easily.
Nail Gun 2-4 1 ? - Stab 1-7 15% Nail Clip Craft-only. Clips can be purchased at Hell's Up In Hardware for $75, and hold 50 rounds, making this a very handy grinding pistol.
Kel-Tec P11 9mm 2-4 1 ? - Shot 5-13 ? 9mm You can buy 9mm Insult at 77jack's.
9mm Beretta 2-4 1 ? - Shot 7-15 20% 9mm Your bread and butter grinding weapon for some time.
Walter P99 2-4 1 ? - Shot 7-15 20% 9mm From Pegleg Pete's. A tiny bit more accurate than a Beretta, and seems to scale slightly better as well.
.44 magnum 2-4 1 ? - Shot 9-17 30% .44 speedload Good damage with handloads (close to that of a desert hawk).
Sawn-Off Shotgun 2-4 1 ? - Beat/Slash/Shot 5-15/5-15/5-15 10%/10%/10% Buckshot shell Can be switched to single or double fire mode. Double fire grants slightly better tohit, at the cost of using both shells at once and seemingly no damage increase. This will break, a lot. Does excellent damage, however.
Sawn-Off Shotgun 2-4 1 ? - Shot 15-30 25% Slug shell Can be bought in Botany Bay. Concentrated bullet damage, use on targets with low bullet soaks. Expensive but worth it.
Sawn-Off Shotgun 2-4 1 ? - Slash/Slash/Slash/Slash 3-7/4-10/4-10/3-7 10%/10%/10%/10% Fletch shell Can be bought in Botany Bay. Extremely effective on targets with low slash soaks, ineffective on leech.
Sawn-Off Shotgun 2-4 1 ? - Burn/Slash 5-12/5-10 30%/20% Incendiary shell Can be bought in Botany Bay. Relatively low damage for a shotgun, and easily soaked by lots of armors (especially leech-hide). Do not buy this, almost every other kind of shell is better and can be bought for the same.
Sawn-Off Shotgun 2-4 1 ? - Shot/Slash/Bleed 5-10/15-25/2-5 ? Bolo shell None.
Sawn-Off Shotgun 2-4 1 ? - Beat/Shot/Radiation 4-15/2-15/1-10 ? Waster shell Looted off of mutant bootleggers, the radiation damage is only soaked by a few things, making this very handy for killing.
Harpoon pistol 3-5 1 ?/3.5 - stab 1-1 0% Harpoon clips Useful for underwater fights, might be useful against vampires for very lucky chest shot
Snubnose .38 revolver 3-5 1 ? - Shot 6-12 30% .38 speedload May accept .357 speedloads.
.357 revolver 4-6 1 ?/3.3 - Shot 6-12 30% .357 speedload Accepts .38 speedloads also.

TT-77 5-7 2 ? - Shot 2-12 10% Hand-loaded 14.5mm Damage is bugged, doing less damage with hand-loads than regular magazines.
TT-77 5-7 2 ? - Shot 18-20 20% 14.5mm silvertip The only upside to this weapon, while still being terrible silvertips make it actually usable in combat.
Rusty .71 Desert Hawk Revolver 5-7 1 ? - Shot 8-30 35% .71 speedload Distinguishable from the non-rusty one through name alone. Always look/app before you purchase. Liable to explode. Ammo isn't buyable and a huge pain to craft.

Samaritan 5-7 1 ? - Shot/Explosion 16-40/3-15 ? .92 speedload Good damage if you can get a shot off, the Samaritan is very slow. Use this for aiming at people's heads or at doors.
Lasblaster 5-7 1 ? - Laser 8-10 ? Atomicell Laser damage isn't soaked by many things. Getting the parts together for the ammo can be a little annoying, however.
