Screamers are hideous humanoid monsters that have taken over the screamer base..  They are capable of producing a shrill psychic scream that can paralyze even the toughest of individuals.  They carry mostly blunt weapons but sometimes have lightweight pickaxes and are knows to powerattack for a vicious ammount of damage (I've seen them hit for 25 through a deathsuit with a razor bat.)

Their screech can be nullified by wearing 2-4 sets of earplugs depending on your endurance. They are also immune to the toxin that fills the air of the lowest levels of the base.
